Home and School
2020/2021 Officers

My name is Katie Fitzgerald and I am your Home and School President for the third year!  My husband, Joe, and I have three children.  Our oldest son, Zeb, is a freshman at Dowling. Our son, Keegan, is in 8th grade and our daughter, Eden, is in 4th grade. They are all participants in the Spanish Immersion program and we are very impressed.

I earned a bachelors degree from UNI in Communications with a Marketing minor and after college worked at Principal Financial Group. I became a stay-at-home Mom after Zeb was born and enjoy volunteering at the school.

My husband and I joined St. Anthony’s in 2005 and are active parishioners.  I look forward to a fantastic year with lots of fun activities!

My husband Tom and I have three children, two of which attend St. Anthony’s. Francesca is in second grade, Gianna is in kindergarten, and Nora is still at home. Karime Reveiz Westrum

Hello, my name is Karime and I am your new SAS Secretary.  My husband, Joel, and I have three daughters.  Helena is in third grade Spanish Immersion, Rose is in three year old preschool, and Dorothy our one year old.

I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2002 with two degrees, one in Art and one in Environmental Studies.  My husband and I opened our optometry office in 2006 where we enjoy serving many people, including the Hispanic community, as our entire staff is bilingual.

We joined St. Anthony Parish in 2015 when our first daughter started school and cherish all of the relationships we have formed, and continue to form.  I look forward to supporting our school and all the fantastic things that are happening here!

Shannon McDonald

My name is Shannon McDonald. I am a wife and mother of 5 beautiful daughters; Carolina (12), Claudia (10), Mary (5) Lola (2) and Bianca (almost 1).  I have been a member of St. Anthony's my whole life and went to SAS as a child. I am looking forward to a year full of fun, making awesome money for our school, and getting to know more people within the SAS Community.
